- Brugger magnetic door holder with an NdFeB neodymium magnet, 105 N (approx. 10.5 kg) holding force. Recessed into the door leaf (15–25 mm depth) or surface-mounted. Supplied with a ø 45 mm stainless steel plate and 2 mounting plates.
Brugger neodymium magnetic door holder, 105 N
This magnetic door holder from the German manufacturer Brugger Magnetsysteme keeps an open door in the chosen position and prevents it from slamming shut. A powerful neodymium (NdFeB) magnet provides a holding force of 105 N, approx. 10.5 kg. The holder is suitable for doors at home as well as in motorhomes, caravans and furniture.
Key features
- NdFeB neodymium magnet – 105 N (approx. 10.5 kg) holding force.
- Two mounting options – the magnet can be recessed into the door leaf (installation depth 15–25 mm), where it practically disappears into the door, or screwed onto the side of the door surface using the mounting plates.
- Complete set – supplied with a self-adhesive stainless steel counter plate (ø 45 × 1.5 mm) and 2 mounting plates (50 × 34 mm).
- Simple operation – with both mounting options, the door is held in place when the magnet in the door passes over the counter plate.
- Compact body – ø 26 mm, 26 mm long, black.

Frequently asked questions
Does the holder have to be recessed into the door?
No. It can be fitted into a hole in the door leaf (installation depth 15–25 mm) or screwed onto the side of the door surface using the supplied mounting plates.
Where is the stainless steel plate fitted?
The self-adhesive ø 45 mm plate is fixed where the door with the magnet passes over it, e.g. on the floor. The door is held at that point.
How is the holding force measured?
The manufacturer specifies 105 N measured at room temperature on a polished 10 mm steel plate (S235JR according to DIN 10 025). The actual force depends on the installation, temperature and counter plate, so the value is a guide.
