The steps are suitable for the original driver's cabs of Fiat Ducatos built since 2006, Mercedes Sprinters built since 2006 and VW Crafters built between 2006 and 2016 as well as of vehicles with identical construction. Aluminium profile with screwed synthetic safety cover at the edges and anti-slip profile. The steps are screwed safely to and under the vehicle's crossbeam via the vehicle-specific brackets included in delivery. The problem: Due to their construction, the Fiat Ducato's, Sprinter's and Crafter's first steps are situated inside the driver's cab at a height of 46 – 51 cm above ground. To surmount this height difference, drivers often misuse their steering wheel to climb into the vehicle. This is not possible for the passenger, as no such aid is within their reach. Due to the height difference of 46 – 51 cm, climbing into the vehicle is uncomfortable and tiring. The solution: With these steps, the height difference is cut down to approx. 23 cm. The steps are adaptable and vertically adjustable to the existing vehicle construction. This is done via entirely vertical profiles at the bottom of every step. Thus, the set of steps can be adjusted specifically to the different vehicle bodies. Consists of: 2 anodised aluminium steps (driver's and passenger's side); 2 sets of stainless steel brackets; fastening material; manual illustrated in colour; drilling template; Vehicle Type Approval; maximum bearing load per step: 140 kg.
