Questions and answers
Why heat the regulator?
In frost the regulator can ice up and cut off the gas. The heater keeps it warm, so the heating keeps working in winter.
Which regulators does it fit?
Cavagna regulators with a suitable blind hole, e.g. CPU Tank Safe, and two-cylinder systems, e.g. CPU Due Safe.
How is it powered?
From the 12 V vehicle supply via a standard switch, which is not included.
How much current does it draw?
The heater is rated at 2 W, so it draws about 0.17 A at 12 V.
Can I fit it myself?
The manufacturer intends it for installation and retrofitting in a workshop.
