The starter kit gives you everything you need to start using the TROBOLO WandaGO separating toilet. Alongside the toilet you get 25 l of TROBOLO litter and a roll of 20 recycled-plastic 6.5 l bags, so there's nothing else to buy for your first trip. WandaGO works without water, chemicals or electricity, weighs 4.2 kg, and its seat can be set to 30.6 or 43.6 cm.

What's included

• 1 × TROBOLO WandaGO, a portable separating toilet. The manufacturer's box contains a 6.5 l solids container, a 4.6 l liquids container, a small roll of recycled-plastic bags and the user manual.
• 1 × TROBOLO absorbent litter, 25 l: 100% pine with a natural wood scent. According to the manufacturer, 10 l of litter lasts about 40 uses, so 25 l covers roughly 100 uses.
• 1 × roll of TROBOLO recycled-plastic bags, 6.5 l (20 pcs): they fit the WandaGO solids container and are tear-resistant.

"Long Trip" variant

Everything in the starter kit, plus:

• 1 × spare TROBOLO urine container, 4.6 l, which according to the manufacturer fits WandaGO, WandaGO Lite and BilaBox and comes with a cap;
• 1 × TROBOLO liquids container cap, a leak-proof cap for 4.6 l and 10 l containers, so you can seal the second container too for transport or storage.

Getting started

1. Take WandaGO out of the box and place it on a completely level surface. In a vehicle, secure it with the fastening system.
2. Put a 6.5 l bag into the solids container.
3. Keep the litter within reach, ideally in a closable container next to the toilet.
4. Always sit down to use the toilet. After each bowel movement, cover the contents with about 250 ml of litter.
5. Empty the containers separately. Pour urine into a regular toilet, and put the tied bag of solids into general household waste, like nappies. The manufacturer recommends emptying the solids container every 5–10 days.

FAQ

How long will the kit last? According to the manufacturer, 25 l of litter covers about 100 uses (about 250 ml per use). 20 bags are enough for 20 emptyings of the solids container, plus you get a small roll of bags in the toilet's box. The solids container holds 8–12 uses and the urine container 10–20 uses.

Can I choose compostable bags instead of recycled-plastic ones? Yes. TROBOLO compostable 6.5 l bags (10 pcs, made from corn starch) also fit WandaGO. Choose them if you want to compost the waste. The manufacturer recommends replacing them weekly, as they lose strength over time. Recycled-plastic bags are more tear-resistant and suit longer intervals between emptying, but they aren't compostable.

When should I choose the "Long Trip" variant? When two of you are travelling or you'll be away from toilets for longer. The urine container holds 4.6 l (10–20 uses). If two people use only WandaGO, it needs emptying roughly every 1–2 days, often daily in practice. With a spare container you cap the full one and empty it when convenient, while you keep using the second.

Can I use my own wood shavings instead of TROBOLO litter? Yes, as long as they're neither too fine nor too coarse. The manufacturer suggests using the consistency of TROBOLO litter as a guide. The litter in the kit is 100% pine, so you're ready to go from day one.
